Once an issue has been solved or a satisfactory conclusion has been achieved (by discussion or an administrator decision) threads will be locked to prevent them being bumped.

Do not expect that your suggestion will be implemented regardless of how good you think your idea it is. There are many factors as to why something may be dismissed. The thread will have been locked for good reason, and your thread should serve as a reminder to others that the suggestion has already been made and implemented or dismissed.

Post IRC question

Hello.
Perhaps I'm just at thick as two thick planks of plank, but I can't seem to connect to your IRC server with my own client.

I don't want to use my browser for various reasons and have connected previously via this method.

Have the details changed at all?

I have

Server: irc.leagueofreason.co.uk

Port: 6667

Channel: #lor

and I use xchat.
I remember reading at some time about something somewhere regarding some stuff, but the content eludes me...

You have the details correct, so no idea what the issue would be. Try irc.oftc.net (which leagueofreason.co.uk redirects to), to cut out the middle man.
